This drawing is a FINALIST

in the Lyn McCrea Memorial Drawing Prize at the Noosa Regional Gallery exhibition in October 2017.

While cruising in the Whitsunday islands I spent a memorable night moored beneath Peter Head being tossed around by a big swell. I spent most of the night looking at the moonlight on Peter Head checking our position in case the anchor dragged.

In the morning I sketched the craggy bluff so I could record the night forever.
