Glenise Clelland

          

           Art has always been my passion.  My years as a Fashion Designer and Theatre Costume Designer gave me freedom to explore colour, texture and design which now is evident in all my paintings and drawings.

              

              My paintings are influenced by my life experiences travelling and visually recording many places visited.  From the tip of Cape York to the Kimberley in Western Australia; from central Australia to Noosa to Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa - all have influenced my art work. 

 

          My diverse genre includes many years of life drawing with a live model.  I believe drawing from life hones my powers of observation and breathes life into all my art - landscape and figurative.
