WQ magazine selects my painting for the cover of their magazine. I was asked to submit a painting for the cover of the Queensland Writers Magazine and this painting was selected. It is one of my Noosa North Shore wetland series where the ever changing light & reflections & tall Melaleuca trees inspire new work.

I designed this stained glass window for a house we sold in 1996 - new owners renovated & removed so not sure if it survived - we had it back lit at night so it glowed - if anyone ever sees it I would LOVE it back #Brisbane #Indooroopilly #stainedglass #window #birdofparadise

On Saturday I was guest speaker at the Brisbane Institute of Art Nona Metcalfe exhibition talking about my friend artist Nona Metcalfe who died in 1989. The event & exhibition organised by her niece Christine Dauber in the Nona Metcalf gallery. Also speaking was the curator of the ' New Woman ' exhibition at Museum of Brisbane Miranda Hine. Nona was the benefactor who made it possible for Brisbane Institute of Art to continue to educate & encourage many of Brisbane's successful artists today. I donated 2 of Nona's paintings, that i bought from her many years ago, to the collection. Lots of memories for me in the paintings on display.
