AUSTRALIAN LANDSCAPES, figurative and mixed media drawings - Kimberley to Cape York to Noosa ; plus Fiji, Vanuatu, Western Samoa, Tonga, Papua New Guinea and Italy. Award winning Australian artist Glenise Clelland works from her studio “Stillwater” at Noosa North Shore on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Glenise is a graduate from the Brisbane College of Art (now Queensland University of Technology). For over 20years Glenise has exhibited at reputable galleries such as Redhill Gallery, Brisbane; Art Galleries Schubert, Gold Coast; Manly Gallery and Noosa Regional gallery – plus many others. Glenise has won numerous awards including Ian Fairweather Memorial prize and Sunshine Coast art prize. Three of her Pacific Island paintings were selected for the Florence Biennale in 2003. She has also had paintings selected for Pine Rivers award, Celebrate Queensland Awards, Flying Arts Regional Award, Stanthorpe Regional Gallery Prize and the Aboriginal University of Australia Collaboration and 4 times for the prestigious Tattersall’s Landscape Art Prize + others. Her varied and evocative Australian landscapes, Pacific Islands and figurative paintings, particularly of Kimberley, Cape York and Noosa environs are easily recognised and sought after. Glenise’s work is in Government, Corporate and private collections in Australia and overseas. |
